  3. This is a command-line utility for 
  4. maintaining Windows 95 shortcuts on your computer.

  7. The following summarizes the command-line syntax for SHORTCUT.EXE:

  9. shortcut: [-? -h -f -c -r -s] [[-t] <target> [[-n] <name>]] 
  10.     [-d <working directory>] [-a <Arguments>] [-i <Iconfile>] 
  11.     [-x <Icon index>] [-u {all|[natdix]}]
  12.  
  13.   -?           Display command-line help for syntax.
  14.   -h           Display short help.
  15.   -f           Force overwrite.
  16.   -c           Change existing shortcut.
  17.   -s           Make shortcut nontracking. 
  18.   -r           Resolve broken shortcut.
  19.   -t target    Specifies the target of the shortcut.
  20.   -n name      Specifies the shortcut.
  21.   -d directory Specifies the working directory.
  22.   -a arguments Specifies the arguments.
  23.   -i iconfile  Specifies the icon file.
  24.   -x index     Specifies the icon index.
  25.   -u [spec]    Dumps the contents of a shortcut; 
  26.                'all' is the same as 'natdix'
  27.                but the letters of 'natdix' can be specified 
  28.                to display specific fields in the shortcut 
  29.                (repeats allowed, and order followed).
